February 24th, 2018, legendary Bollywood actress, 54- year-old Sridevi, had been on an extended solo vacation in Dubai when her husband, Boney Kapoor, decided to give her a surprise visit in the evening around 7:00 p.m. The couple enjoyed their reunion and decided to go out for dinner that night. Sridevi walked into her bathroom to take a bath and get dressed for the occasion. Sadly, moments later, her husband discovered her lifeless body submerged under water in the bathtub. Initially ruled as an accidental drowning, Sridevi’s death became quite a controversy around the globe as multiple conspiracy theories started making rounds, some involving her own husband. After arriving at the hotel the story made up by BK is heard over hundred times. The hotel cctv cameras record is never talked about nor is the reason for delay in getting medical help for Sridevi.

The husband was married, but he divorced his 2nd wife to be married to her.
She in turn wouldnt care that she rocked the husband’s previous marriage as long as she achieved her goals.
As soon as I found out how she died, I already felt it was the husband. Her death was not a Whitney Houston-type death. I will always feel her husband had his hands in her death. Tohfa is my favorite childhood movie.

The biggest red flag is that the insurance policy for 35 million dollars allowed a payout only if she died in UAE (Dubai), not in India where she actually lived. Why would the husband pay for such a weird insurance policy which wouldn’t pay if death happened in her home country?

So that they wouldn’t investigate the case intensly. The pressure would have been intense in India plus with family, friends and fans fighting for justice it would have been chaos

A journalist once said that Bonny was under questioning by authorities in Dubai and they declined to do post mortem on weekend because that’s the rule so Bonny called Khans because they have high influence in Dubai so Khans intervened and body was released. That raised even more questions like why so much hurry? Further Sridevi was 5’8” and tub was like 5 feet long so people had suspicions and then they learned about insurance policy and about underworld involvement.

Boney Kapoor did contact Shahrukh Khan to intervene but even Shahrukh Khan couldn’t do it, and so finally Boney Kapoor had to reach out to someone else to allow Sridevi’s dead body to reach India, as verified and confirmed by several sources. Like the old saying, “it’s always the husband”. Maybe it’s not a 100% accurate, but in this case, it applies. The huge life insurance was likely bought without the knowledge or Sridevi, or else she would be more cautious about her trips in Dubai. Good detective work was absent in this tragedy, so no one could speak for the dead. Poor Sridevi. One has to wonder, what is this husband going to do when his money runs out again? His daughters? … It is a horror being born into the wrong family.

The biggest mystery to me would be what did Sridevi see in this obese, balding, older already married man with 2 kids. He was unattractive and unsuccessful in his career. He had no regrets or conscience to leave his terminally sick 1st wife or his 2 kids for a famous actress. A man with no remorse or regret could be capable of murder too when desperate for money.
Sridevi married Boney 25 yrs back when he was rich and successful. She was completely emotionally dependent on Boney after the death of her mother. Mona his first wife divorced him and contd to live with Boney’s parents. Boney moved out and lived separately with Sridevi married her. She bore him two daughters. Almost 15-18 yrs later Mona was struck with cancer which she battled bravely till she succumbed to the disease.
She was trapped by his sweet words. She made a huge mistake marrying a married man with children. She deserved much better & an unmarried man! 😢❤

Boney has earlier used up, squandered all of 1st wife Mona’s money (she was the daughter of a rich Dubai based businesswoman) then when all of her money was used up, ditched her to marry Sridevi who had lot of money. Then again he did the same thing to her as well. Squandered all of Sridevi’s hard earned money, made her sell properties which she had in her name, then got her to buy a heavy insurance policy, convenient and befitting himself before killing her meticulously. Sridevi’s mother was very much against this arrangement of Boney for her beautiful daughter. Sridevi was engaged to Vijay Amritraj at an earlier time, which fell apart.
