What was the largest concert? Well the fifth largest was the Monsters of Rock Concert in 1991. It had to be hosted at an airfield to fit the 1.6 million people that turned up. This was small compared to the Bastille Day 1990 [2M] and Copacabana 1993/1994 [3M] concerts, and even smaller compared to the second largest which was the 850th Anniversary of Moscow Concert in 1997 [3.5M]. All of these are tiny compared to the largest concert in history however was the Copacabana New Years Concert in 1994/1995. This was hosted on the Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro and it attracted 4.2M people.

The 90s was the time to be alive..
People who were teenagers / young adults during the 90s have the BEST stories, I wish I was in that era 😂
Stfu live the moment
Indeed ❤❤
@@matthewpaanotorres7309 I’d rather live in the 1930s in germany
Bro imagine being in the middle of the concert and you try to leave
Imagine being in the middle of that and having to use the bathroom.

Everyone talking about how hard getting out from the middle of a the concert, but no one talk about how disaterous the parking would be 💀
I imagine you got to walk. Not enough parking nowhere.
@lexis4490 also, in Moscow and pretty sure a vast majority don’t own cars at that time. Bus them in and out and walking
… or how many purses were pinched!
Since a lot of these were in Europe. I’d reckon it was all public transport.
😂😂😂
90s probably the greatest time to be a teen to young adult. No cell phones just pure attention.

Madonna just did a free concert with 1.6 million public
@@OO-hq6rwit’s free, who wouldn’t go! ❤
Exactly
Yes we did, no cellphones, hands in the air, we have memories with no selfies!!!!
True
Half my country is having a party here 💀💀💀
My country has only 3 million people😭😭
@@Onlymehh11what country?
@@Onlymehh11yeah, what country is that a city country
@@SA-ey6nt There are a lot of countries in Europe that have less than 3 million people, like Lithuania where I live but it is not so small country compared to other countries there. It’s just that our population is not large (you can search for size)
@@Onlymehh11 A lot? Idk I though mine was with a low population of about 6-7 mil people and didn’t expect 3, that’s all it was.
Being in a crowd of 1,000,000+ sounds like hell
I agree that’s too dam much.
Imagine being in middle of crowd in concert & now you want to go home due to emergency. 💀
Iv been to way smaller ones and when it was over i was pulled in with the crowd all step by step walking forward with everyone against you.
Terrible
Souns like a fun experience to have
yousaid…
Back when music actually had fans.
To be honest I think it is probably one of the worst places to listen to music. As a party it should be great if someone enjoys big crowds and big parties but for music I think it is hard to appreciate music in such environment.
Imagine how many people died there due to the crowd
No actually people did a lot like over the hundreds people were trampled and my aunt said that there were a lot of people that got lost in the crowd and it took them a long time to find each other again I’d have went home and waited at that point I ain’t searching through 4 million people that’s like trying to find someone in a infinite Walmart
@@ItsJustAhHoax my god 😨
@@BriX_Under_Wefr bro, people die with even thousands of attendances, let alone millions 😱
@@emgo-at7398 yes weren’t there a couple of festivals in the USA where people died due to them being so badly organised?
Thankfully we’ve not had any death’s here in UK at music festivals but we have a lot of security teams and First Aid teams assigned to them.
Imagine there is a thunderstorm all of the sudden 💀
I remember making a wealth out of these concerts as a Taxi driver
That must’ve been a good time
Same
Did u also raise the prices hahahah
Let me take a guess, you picked their pockets?
