– Live Nation Middle East and Bla Bla Dubai are excited to announce that Glass Beams, the globally acclaimed project of Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Rajan Silva, is a creative exploration deeply rooted in heritage and nostalgia. Conceived through Silva’s exploration of his father’s journey from India to Australia in the late 1970s, the music reflects an intimate connection between past and present. One of Silva’s earliest inspirations came from watching Concert for George, a legendary 2002 tribute to Beatles’ guitarist George Harrison at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The concert, which brought together iconic artists like Ravi Shankar and his daughter Anoushka alongside Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, and Jeff Lynne, ignited Silva’s vision of blending Indian classical influences with contemporary sounds.
