The term ‘casting couch’ is often associated with words like compromise, harassment, physical force, molestation, etc. While the ‘glamour’ world projects itself to be jazzy, the spine-chilling stories indicate otherwise. It is merely superficial and a sheer facade. With feminism and women empowerment taking over, the actresses do not succumb to such ill-happenings anymore. Today, we bring out some horrendous casting couch experiences faced by Vidya Balan, Isha Koppikar, Rashami Desai, Richa Chadha. These fierce women brave up to speak against casting couch encounters while raising awareness.

Is the practice of asking ‘favours’ limited to the entertainment industry only? Let us know.
NOPE
Lol girls love it
Dont say no we dont
As far as I know, doesn’t happen in any other industries like the entertainment industry.. even if it does, then maybe rarely.
@@harrisonwells2908 that’s how you were born.
There is a fast food casting couch.
is it something to be liked or disliked! and let’s not normalise this, bcos the trauma they/we go thru after such thing is eternal

I think this world will change faster if we’ll go with the thought of “teaching children (not only boys, girls too) how to respect everyone” instead of “protecting women” .
It has never happened and will never happen. Survival of the fittest is the sole rule of nature and none can bypass that.
Boys need to be taught how to respect girls from day one.
The thing to note is that these actresses are also part of the system, NOT VICTIMS
But you all are a bunch of ban-choots anyway!
Some people have a dream of being in the entertainment industry, some men take advantage of that dream. These women are victims.
they r but r trying to speak about it to stop it how r bad
ur comment is senseless
@@roshnik5137 The women are NOT victims. This thing is going on because women do indeed use their bodies for instant success.

That is so sorry, there was no need to abuse, or molest a person 🙂 That is horrible.
Seriously Human psychology is so strange these days…there was a time when woman like Draupadi was insulted…the Great battle Mahabharata happened …But now today…nobody has a reaction on these Meetoo# stuff. And today every girls and women loves to wear bikini and nobody has a reaction if they heard some molestation in film industry…people are now accepting it as a social norm of celebrity culture. What era we are living right now… I’m just confused.!!!?
Yar see they choose this stardom themselves and are well aware of how things work here
Bikini is not equals to molestation… It’s a beach wear… Even guys wear speedos on beaches…U can’t expect a female to cover herself on the beach… Professional Female swimmers also wear bikini… Even kids get molested… It just depends on the mentality of a person…And casting couch is everywhere not only in film industry…No female should get molested just because she is wearing bikini…And this is coming from a rape victim…I was raped at the age of 6… And trust me a rapist doesn’t see the victim’s outfit, age, gender or anything…He/she just rapes… Even guys are getting raped…
@@Coco_Chanel7 That’s so sweet of u…If u are guy saying this then hats off to u… Cause many guys in the comment section just blaming the females… I got molested many times while growing up sometimes by my english teachers some times by my maternal uncle and sometimes on bus…So i have realised that bad people are everywhere…So i don’t care about those judgmental people anymore who blame Female’s clothes for rape…I wear whatever I want infact I want to be on a powerful position like CBI or IAS so nobody could dare to touch me again and along with that I will do modelling…I had written book at the age of 13 and got an award for that… I’m thinking about becoming a script writer in film industry…So i could empower those females around me…I’m not scared of these monsters anymore…I want to become a strong version of myself to face these monsters and tackle problems in future by myself…I will protect all the guys and girls around me who are victims of rape and molestation

Shame on Bollywood criminals 😡😡😡
It happens in hierarchical organization esp acting, modeling, Hollywood, Bollywood, modeling

Bollywood is following west it is actually forgetting our culture….. We should have one different culture…. Adding kissing scenes in every movie even when it’s not needed and deteoriating the content…..
My friend wants to be an actress. She spoken with various person but one person talked for 1 hr 30 min on call. And constantly was saying that in this area there is no chance without compromise. And yes he said that he has big connection and so he wants to make aware.
(My friends was like – Are bhai agr big connection hai to help krna…. Compromise k liye convence krwana hi q????)
He said that he is not like this but she will definitely get such people in near future……. Then you will understand that “I was right……”
He knows Alia Bhatt and says sister bla bla bla….
But my friend thinking is like Achhe log bhi milege… Patience rakho. Apne izzat ko priority doge to ek din aage jrur bhadoge….
And yes he said her that why your Mom-Dad marry????? Means he was having no difference between marry and force.
Canting couch not only TV and film industry! It is happening every corner of the world!
Truly said… Females should step out… People only think that it’s only in entertainment industry and balma the female for choosing entertainment industry… But actually it’s everywhere
Because of casting couch my family doesn’t support acting career!

There was this young actress in the 1980s, Neeta Puri, from NJ, a Miss India-America, who was trying to enter Bollywood. A famous director, I forget his name, but he has made some big hits with Rajesh Khanna, who promised her a lead role if she slept with him. She refused and he threatened to blacklist her in Bollywood and if she made it in spite of it, to spit on his face.
She did become successful, and gave an interview asking whether she could now spit on his face!
Rajesh Khanna was another such opportunistic pervert who tortured a 14-year old girl, daughter of not so famous actress, into sleeping with him. His cohort in crime was a cheesy Malayalam director, husband of actress Seema. The way they pressurized her in sex scenes were unbelievable. But she did not yield and got out of Bollywood. On top of all this, Rajesh Khanna had the support of the famous film gossip columnist, “Frankly Speaking Devi”. Tina Munium (now Ambani), then living in with Rajesh Khanna, supported him, asking why would he need to sleep with anyone else.
Bollywood must be a scary place for young aspiring women in the 1980s. Maybe Tollywood, Mollywood, and Kollywood also. No accountability.
The then 14 year old is Tabassum
They are not revealing the name of the casting couch person.
Bc they want to live life and not face giants unnecessarily. They might never work again if they do that.
It’s not that easy to reveal names man….defamation case , death threats , r@pe threats e.t.c milta hai…
Then why most of all actor-actress suggest their son, duughter work in industry… Bcz is the stardom erase these all?
